This country kitchen renovation in Waipawa, Central Hawke’s Bay was designed to enhance the warmth and character of an existing rural home while improving functionality and flow. The brief focused on retaining a traditional feel while creating a more practical kitchen and scullery for everyday living.
Crisp white painted shaker cabinetry brings a timeless country style, complemented by a custom rangehood tower that anchors the space. The adjoining scullery provides additional storage and prep space, keeping the main kitchen clean, organised, and easy to use.
A custom-built dining table was incorporated to create a natural connection point within the space, supporting both family living and entertaining. The result is a warm, inviting kitchen that balances rural character with thoughtful, functional design.
