Custom Feature Units Designed for Your Home.
Feature joinery has the power to transform a space. At Natural Edge Joinery, we design and build custom feature units in Hawke’s Bay that combine practical storage with beautiful design.
From entranceway cabinetry and bookcase feature walls to entertainment units and built-in storage solutions, every piece is completely custom made to suit your space and style. Whether you’re looking to create a striking focal point, maximise storage, or bring balance to an awkward wall or corner, our joinery is designed to work seamlessly within your home.
The result? Whatever the space, we’ll make it look incredible - combining clever storage, thoughtful design, and high-quality craftsmanship.
From concept to completion,
this is our 6 step process..
-
First things first, we come to you. We measure up, walk the space, and get a proper feel for how you actually live in it, day to day, not just how it looks on paper.
We'll talk numbers early too, budget, materials, what's realistic, so there's no guessing later on.
-
Love entertaining? Need more storage? Dreaming of a scullery or tower pantry? This is where we talk it all through, layout, appliances, and a flow between your sink, stove, fridge and prep area that actually works for you.
We bring a full range of colour and material samples along too, and you're welcome to keep them for a while to decide. Most clients arrive with a Pinterest board or just a general vibe, and that's exactly where we start turning it into something real.
-
This is where it all starts taking shape. We put together a full 3D render so you can actually see your new space before manufacturing starts, alongside a detailed quote, usually back to you within three days.
-
Once the quote's signed off and the deposit's been received, we get into it. Everything's built right here in our Hastings workshop, carcasses, panels, doors, the lot.
-
Our team handles the install on site, usually two to three days depending on size and scope. We coordinate with your other trades too, builders, electricians, plumbers, so everything lines up without you having to chase anyone.
-
Once installation is complete, we do a final check to make sure everything's exactly as it should be. Then we check back in once you've had a bit of time to live in it, because that's really when you'll know how it feels.
